About this deal

I found it easy to cover any redness or spots, I would say that this definitely has a medium coverage but it is buildable if you need the extra coverage. I received the lightest shade; 201 in PR, and have since repurchased the same shade as it matches my pale skin so well.

You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. Described as a medium coverage foundation, Pro-Glow promises a pretty impressive 24 hour wear time for a 'natural, healthy glow' that is ideal for people with normal to dry skin.Regardless of whether I apply one layer or three, it never looks cakey on my skin and it does cover all of my redness and acne while still looking natural.

For a makeup lover, falling in love with a high quality and affordable foundation is one of the most exciting experiences ever and today I am very excited because I have found not one, but two high quality, affordable foundations. It also has an SPF 15 which is better than nothing too and suited to dry skin, which would make sense why I like it.Sounds like it might be a good winter option, as my skin tends to dry a bit and lean towards the dull side. This is actually the only truly full coverage foundation I have tried and I really liked the way it made my skin look, so I think this would be great to wear to special event or for photos if you tend to have more shiny skin. I have mixed feelings about it because it provides full coverage and it looks great in pictures, but up close it does get cakey! This is a medium coverage foundation, and while it doesn’t look shimmery, it is fairly moisturizing and will give anyone’s skin that glowy, dewy finish that you see on the runways.

There are 12 different shades and they are definitely geared more towards light to medium skin tones. If I want longevity in my foundations I always need to add something like Vanicream to lock in the moisture and some type of oil for glow. I think 209 would have been a better match but that’s okay this one actually works fine and will be close to my perfect shade in winter. Not so much from people with oily skin because according to them it turns their faces into oil slicks but for someone like me that’s always a good sign that the foundation will either be really moisturizing or non-drying. In the two photos above, on the left I’ve applied a bit of Pro-Glow over skin that’s been moisturized lightly with Cetaphil — no argan oil, no Vanicream — and while it looks pretty good and natural overall, you can see that the fine lines of my hand are more noticeable on the left side compared to the right side where I’ve applied Pro-Glow over my usual skin care routine of argan oil, Cetaphil and Vanicream.
