About this deal

There are Episodes which are focused on each character but also some adventures including all members. Contains the entire original Cowboy Bebop animated TV series (26 episodes) over 4 Blu-ray discs with English and original Japanese (with English subtitles) audio options. The only downside is the repetition of the intros/outros that top and tail each episode - some BluRay conversions cut that down. It looks like I have to get the Dynex if I want the best audio and video as well as English subs for the movie.

Back at last in high-definition, this second print run contains a reversible cover as well as containing bonus content never available outside of Japan before including the “Ein’s Summer Holiday” short.

If you don't care about the packaging, the italian set is cheap (fat amaray with dust sleeve, ~40€). stargates" that open and close to let space travellers traverse large distances in the blink of an eye. The Japanese release is interlaced, so the playback quality depends on the player's deinterlacing capabilities. General Story aside Cowboy Bebop is a show that features plenty of Action (Gun fights), Comedy (randomness) and an impressively composed musical soundtrack, all of which blend together to create a highly entertaining and enticing series. Both mixes are of excellent quality, with great atmospheric use of the surround channels, the occasionally more aggressive directional cue, and excellent bass. With this ‘Box 1’ Release of Cowboy Bebop we find ourselves with the first half (13 episodes) of the series which mainly acts as an introduction to the characters, the lifestyle, the action and the comical antic’s that will take place. Depth: Outside of the all computer-animated scenes, which were animated in SD, the level of 2-D animation is stellar. This seems to be a thing they don’t do any more (thank goodness), but it means that the OP and ED on there are not the best versions by default. I was under the impression that it was like their Yu Yu Hakusho blu-rays which use the HD masters from Japan.
